Jesus & The Law’n Winding Road

If I say, “the Old Testament” and your immediate thought is something like, “it’s confusing and overwhelming and hard to understand, and I don’t know how to make any sense of it, and it’s all just too much, and at the end of the day all I really need is Jesus, so I can just ignore it,” this study is for you!

The New Testament assumes an understanding of the Old so in this six-week study we'll take a “5,000-foot fly-by” of the Old Testament and Second Temple Judaism to shine fresh light on Jesus’ teaching and ideas that later developed in Christendom. This study will add context to bits ’n pieces mentioned on the fly previously and lay a strong foundation for our next study, a deep dive into the Sermon on the Mount with Dr. Tim of The Bible Project.
