R2T2: Re-Thinking Theology

R2T2: Re-Thinking Theology

The last Tuesday of each month at 7- 8:30 PM in the Library
About the group:
We all do theology because theology is simply “faith seeking understanding” (Anselm). The Jewish predecessors of our faith wrestled together over Scripture and the early Church Fathers warned against doing theology in isolation. So, this makes theology “The Ultimate Team Sport.”
Faith related questions and doubts inevitably arise for us at some point in life. This can be unsettling; we can feel untethered, insecure, fearful. But God who knows and loves us, who sees our every thought, uses these seasons to deepen and solidify our faith and relationship with him if we will face the questions, doubts and fears led by his Spirit and scripture, and do some re-thinking.
R2T2 will be a place to re-think theology together, confident that all truth is God’s truth and it is good to follow the truth wherever it may lead. On some weeks our study may start with a short presentation to address a common misunderstanding or our questions.
Tuesday evenings (Oct 27, Nov 24) at 7:00 - 8:30 in the Library
